Dento-Maxillofacial Radiology is a specialized field of dentistry in which the diagnosis and treatment planning of diseases in the oral and maxillofacial region are clinically and radiographically determined. Within our faculty, the initial examination and radiographic procedures for patients seeking consultation and treatment are conducted within our department. After formulating the most suitable treatment plan, patients are directed to the specialized branches where their treatments will be carried out. Our department comprises two clinics: Oral Diagnosis and Radiology. The Oral Diagnosis clinic involves examination of the oral, dental, and surrounding tissues, exploration of oral manifestations of systemic diseases, and assessment of the temporomandibular joint. The Radiology clinic offers services encompassing digital panoramic and periapical radiographic imaging, as well as cone-beam computed tomography and ultrasonography examinations. Through the application of contemporary techniques, early diagnosis of diseases within our domain is facilitated, thereby enabling the optimal preservation of individuals’ dental and maxillofacial health.
