Pediatric Dentistry (Pedodontics) is a specialized field that focuses on the treatment of primary and permanent teeth of children aged 0 to 15 years. It encompasses preventive measures against dental decay, interventions to halt decay progression, and the rectification of improper oral habits.
Our fundamental goal is to ensure the health of primary teeth, facilitating a smooth transition to the permanent dentition. We provide services aimed at maintaining and preserving oral and dental health through protective, preventive, and interventional procedures, while also addressing incorrect habits. Additionally, immediate interventions are conducted for children presenting with dental trauma. In conjunction with the treatment of primary teeth, we create space maintainers to prevent space loss resulting from early primary tooth extractions. Treatment protocols are also devised for children with swallowing difficulties or mouth breathing habits, irrespective of disability.
For children who struggle to communicate effectively with the dentist due to fear, anxiety, or any other hindrance, dental treatments are administered under general anesthesia or sedation at our center.
In our first examination clinic catering to infants aged 0-2 years, parents are provided with information on proper nutrition and preventive measures against early childhood caries. This clinic also facilitates the initial dental examination for infants.
As we aspire to raise generations with healthy smiles and minimal dental decay in the future, we emphasize the significance of early-life check-ups and extend our best wishes for enduring oral health.
