The Department of Restorative Dentistry focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of dental caries, one of the most common chronic infectious diseases worldwide, utilizing scientific methods and state-of-the-art technology.
Additionally, individuals with a predisposition to dental caries are educated, motivated, and provided with preventive measures to avert the development of cavities or to detect cavities in their early stages. This involves identifying and treating cavities at their inception.
Inlays, onlays, and aesthetic single-crown procedures are also among the treatment modalities offered within our department.
Following these diagnostic and treatment procedures, lost function and aesthetic attributes of teeth can be effectively restored.
Beyond addressing cavities, treatments are designed to rectify functional and aesthetic shortcomings such as inherited or acquired discolorations, wear, fractures, and cracks in teeth.
Particularly in recent years, with a heightened emphasis on aesthetics, procedures including chemical whitening of vital or endodontically treated teeth, as well as altering tooth shapes through direct and indirect veneer methods, have allowed for the redesign of individuals’ smiles.
